Registration with quitt is without obligation. The contract with quitt begins as soon as your customer account has been topped up for the first time with at least € 6. The registration with the authorities and insurance institutions takes place after the first top-up. We therefore recommend topping up your customer account about two weeks before the start of work. A later registration is also possible, however. quitt fees are incurred as soon as an active employment contract with a domestic help exists, and are charged for as long as the employment relationship exists. The power of attorney granted to quitt remains valid even in the event of a termination, until the deregistration process with all responsible authorities has been fully completed.

Employees and employers must be over 18 years of age. Midi, part-time and full-time employment relationships (jobs with a monthly remuneration of more than €556) are currently only managed by us with a fixed monthly gross salary. German statutory health insurance of the employee is a prerequisite for registering a Midi, part-time or full-time job through quitt. At present, quitt does not support annual gross salaries of more than € 60,000 and no short-term employments with a duration of less than three months. If an employment relationship ends within the first three months, quitt charges a one-off € 39 because of the additional administrative effort.
