Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use quitt as an employee?

Your employer registers you with quitt using your details – no additional effort arises for you in the process. You receive your payslip monthly, as well as an annual wage overview and – where applicable – a wage tax certificate. All documents are sent to you by email and are available for retrieval and download in your personal customer account at any time. For questions about your employment relationship, your salary or your payslip, quitt customer service is available to you free of charge.

What does quitt cost me as an employee?

quitt is always free of charge for employees. Your employer bears all the fees. You receive free access to your payslips and documents as well as to customer service.

Am I insured through quitt?

If your employer registers you through quitt, you are covered by statutory accident insurance, and depending on the type of employment you pay into health, pension, long-term care and unemployment insurance. In the event of an occupational accident you are covered and continue to receive your wage.

Am I entitled to paid holidays and sick days?

Yes, as a registered employee you are entitled to paid holidays, continued payment of wages in the event of illness (up to six weeks) and paid public holidays. These entitlements apply regardless of whether you work in a Minijob or in an employment subject to social insurance contributions. quitt automatically takes holidays and sick days into account in your payslip.

Which documents does quitt provide me with?

You receive your payslip monthly, as well as an annual wage cost overview and – in the case of an employment subject to social insurance contributions – a wage tax certificate. You receive all documents by email and can retrieve and download them in the customer account at any time. For questions about your employment relationship, salary or payslip, quitt customer service is available to you free of charge.
