quitt is an automated service that takes over the entire payroll and employment administration for your domestic help. You remain the legal employer and continue to determine the wage and the working conditions. On your behalf, quitt handles the registration with the authorities, the monthly payroll accounting, payments to authorities and social insurance institutions, as well as all required filings. Unlike pure payroll software, quitt does not just leave you with a tool, but takes over the actual administrative processing. You control everything simply through the app and your customer account at my.go-quitt.de.
quitt takes over the complete administration of your employment relationship: from the employment contract, through the registration with all responsible authorities, to the monthly payroll accounting and the payment of the net wage. We calculate and remit social security contributions as well as wage tax, take care of the statutory accident insurance and handle all required annual filings. Special cases such as continued payment of wages in the event of illness (incl. U1 reimbursement), maternity (U2) and occupational accidents are also processed by quitt. quitt receives the mail from the authorities, arranges payments and submits all filings on time. You continue to make all employer decisions – quitt takes over the entire administrative implementation.
Registration takes around five minutes and is completed entirely online at my.go-quitt.de. You create an account, accept the digital power of attorney, enter your data as well as the data of your domestic help, configure the employment contract (start date, hourly wage, working hours and type of employment) and top up your prepaid account with at least € 6. As soon as the prepaid account has been topped up, quitt starts the registration process with all responsible authorities and insurance institutions. We recommend registering about two weeks before the start of work.
quitt costs € 6 incl. VAT per month and per employee with an active employment contract, plus € 1 incl. VAT per invoiced working hour. The maximum fee is € 39 incl. VAT per month and per employee. From 30 minutes onwards it is rounded up to a full hour; a month is calculated with 4.33 weeks. Fees are only incurred as long as an active employment contract exists. For employments of less than three months, a one-off fee of € 39 incl. VAT is charged because of the effort for registration and deregistration. For employees, quitt is always free of charge.
Yes, your domestic help receives their own free access. There they can view their monthly payslips, their insurance cover and important documents such as the annual wage tax certificate at any time. Access is always free of charge for employees, and quitt customer service is also available free of charge for questions about the employment relationship or the payroll accounting.
